I began my season on the Symetra Tour with 2 events in March in Florida where I finished Tied 14th and Tied 22nd. Both events I was in contention heading into the final round but did not quiet play as well as I would of liked.
I then returned home to Australia for 3weeks to continue working on my game in preparation for a lengthy stretch of tournaments back here in the USA.
Returning to the USA with 5 tournaments in a row, I finished 31st, 31st, 21st, 6th and 9th.
I felt like right from the begin of this stretch of events that my game was not far away and that showed in my last two tournaments with both solid top 10 finishes. In these two weeks I had my coach Luke Edwin over from Australia which always gives me added confidence in my game!
In our travels we have had the opportunity to do a little bit of the sight seeing. Last week in Charlotte, North Carolina we had the amazing opportunity to go to the NASCAR race. We were treated with VIP tickets, allowing us to enter Pit Lane during the 400 lap race!
I have just had one week break in my schedule, within this week I played a US Open Qualifying tournament, shooting Even Par for 36holes. I missed out on the last spot of qualifying for the Women’s US Open at Pinehurst in a sudden death playoff.
This week I begin a three week stretch of tournaments in Battle Creek, Michigan before heading back to Europe to play The Ladies European Masters, possibly the Women’s British Open, and the German Open!
I am really enjoying the new experience here in the USA as this is the first time I have played a lot of golf over here, as I have previously spent all my time in Europe!
I’m am currently sitting 23rd on the Symetra Tour money list, with my main goal of finishing the year inside the top 10 as that earns me full status on the LPGA for the 2015 season!
