Fayde: Official Apparel Supplier To The Queensland PGA

For Immediate Release: Thursday 4th April, 2013 | Fayde partners 50th Anniversary celebrations

To help celebrate the Queensland Sunshine Tour’s 50th anniversary, the Queensland Division of the PGA is pleased to announce Fayde as the official apparel partner for the next two years.

An Australian company based in the southern Gold Coast suburb of Burleigh Heads, Fayde specialises in golf specific clothing and has a mission to develop value for money products that are technical and functional, while daring to be commercially different.

Director of Fayde Peter Casey said he is looking forward to building on Fayde’s current relationship with the Queensland PGA.

“Fayde has been working closely with QLD Division of the PGA for some time now through our active involvement in sponsoring a number of Touring Professionals here in QLD,” said Casey.

“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to take the relationship to another level by helping promote golf here in Queensland. Fayde is looking forward to working with the QLD PGA and golf clubs throughout Queensland helping them add value to tournament sponsors while giving everyone an opportunity to “Feel the Swing” through technical, functional and value for money product.”

The Queensland tournament scene continues to grow each year with Professionals set to play for more than $1.8 million in prizemoney across more than 75 tournaments in 2013.

Broc Greenhalgh, Executive Officer for the Queensland Division of the PGA says he is excited by the new partnership and looks forward to working with Fayde to enhance tournament golf across Queensland.

“It is an exciting year for the Queensland Division of the PGA with Sunshine Tour celebrating its 50th Anniversary, and what a great way to kick it off by announcing a new partnership with Fayde,” he said.

“This year will see an exclusive 50th Anniversary shirt released for the Queensland Sunshine Tour, a shirt that will not be available anywhere but on tour and has been specifically designed by Fayde. This is a great way to start our partnership and we look forward to new initiatives in the future.”

The Fayde partnership spearheads a busy period for the Sunshine Tour after an extensive break.

Professionals will get back into the full swing of golf tournaments with the Australian 4 Ball Championship presented by Alfa Romeo being played next week, before they head up to Papua New Guinea for the following two weeks, where there will be more than $230,000 in prize money on offer.
